Who we are
Silverspark Consulting, registered in Kenya, operates this website under the Silverspark brand. We are responsible for the personal information we collect through this website and business enquiries. You can contact us about privacy.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, company and the help you need. Our enquiry form asks for these details and your service of interest. Phone number, desired timeline and referral source are optional. We also keep relevant correspondence about your enquiry.
Our hosting and security services may process IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, timestamps and security or error events to deliver and protect the website. Our website application does not use advertising pixels or optional third-party analytics.
Providing enquiry details is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond without enough information. Please do not send sensitive personal information, passwords or confidential client material through an initial enquiry.
Purposes and lawful grounds
We use enquiry information to understand your requirements, respond, prepare proposals and manage a business relationship. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, we process information for that purpose. For enquiries made on behalf of an organisation, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business requests and managing professional relationships, balanced against your rights.
We process necessary technical information for our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable website, and information required to meet legal obligations. Where consent is required, we request it separately; you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Recipients and international processing
When online enquiries are enabled, Cloudflare D1 infrastructure stores your enquiry, Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated abuse, and Resend delivers an email notification containing your enquiry to our team. The security check processes technical browser and network information. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and Resend’s Privacy Policy for provider information.
Information may be handled by authorised people responding to your enquiry and providers supporting hosting, security, email and enquiry management. Providers acting on our behalf must use information for agreed purposes and protect it. We may share information with professional advisers or authorities where needed to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information.
Some providers or collaborators may process information outside Kenya. Any international transfer must meet applicable data protection requirements through appropriate safeguards or another legally permitted mechanism. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose. We consider whether enquiry discussions remain active, whether an engagement follows, and any record-keeping or legal-claim requirements. Information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised. Engagement records may have different requirements from initial enquiries.
Access is limited to people who need the information for their work, with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please tell us promptly if you believe information sent to us has been compromised.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on applicable law, you may ask to be informed about processing, access your information, correct inaccuracies, object to processing, request deletion or restriction, or receive a portable copy where that right applies. Legal conditions and exceptions may apply. Website enquiries are not used for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.
Send a privacy request. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may complain to Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner or another competent authority where applicable, without contacting us first.
Cookies and updates
See our Cookie Notice for website technologies. External websites have their own privacy practices. We update this notice when our processing changes and show the revision date above.
